Can these Wachendorf horns be saved? Re-chromed or painted? Any ideas on cost? I am in Pompano Beach FL area.

Absolutely. Save those gems. Make sure you get a reputable shop that takes pride in the finished work. I've brought much worse in and it came back new. What was old can be new again.

Gulf Plating in Ft Lauderdale does beautiful work. They redid my windlas and search light for the PO before I bought the boat. http://gulfplating.com
