Bought a 32v Rayline spotlight on eBay to replace my old unit. Mounted it up just fine, but ran into problem swith the wiring. I'm not an electricity guy , but can usually figure things out by looking at how it used to be and replicating that. However, this time I have boat wiring with three leads (black, white and green) and spotlight wiring with only two leads (black and white). The answer is probably easy, but I'm not messing with it until I consult the "Oracle at Sam's". What's the correct way to do this?

You should have a wiring diagram for the old light. I had that and another one from Hatteras aboard. Take a look there first and that might at least tell you what you have coming from the boat.
