Hatteras Model
53' EXTENDED DECKHOUSE (1983 - 1988)
I assume mine is original. Will not rotate but does tilt.
Can it be fixed? I kind of like the looks of this one.
Does Ray Line still exist?
Any suggestions on replacement if necessary?

All of the parts are with LB Harvey. They will sell parts or do a complete rebuild for you, but it isn't cheap.

I had a 32 volt RayLine searchlight rebuilt in October 2006 by LB Harvey. Phone number 305 856 1583. Expensive but it was repaired. I like you liked the looks of the light and did not replace with a new one. For me it was worth the price of $1,500 (I hope I am allowed to show the price)

Thank you all for feedback.
Hope all I need is parts.

Wow,
$1,500 to rebuild a spot light !!! Think I would just have the wife stand on the bow pulpit with an Eveready flashlight.....

You can do all this yourself. Do a search here on "Searchlight" and you should find a thread where I went through this a couple of years ago. I cleaned the clutches and cleaned/lubed the motors. Also had to replace a circuit board diode at the searchlight but if your light works at all, the board is OK. There's other good info within the thread(s). The whole repair might cost you 5 bucks in cleaning material and grease.

MikeP, I just want to point out that when the search light rebuilder is unable to send his kids to college or go to the Bahamas on vacation, it will all be your fault. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Thanks MikeP.
"Searchlight" is not a word I thought of, although several others I did try were of little use.

Before you do anything major. First check the control switch. When I purchased my boat the PO said that light did not work and it hadn't for a year or two. I checked the switch and found a wire had slipped off. The push on connector had just lost it's clamping power. Good Luck.
