Raw Wtr Pump Removal, 8V71

It looks like there are 2 ways to pull it off the engine, disassemble the pump and adapter from the flywheel housing, or remove the pump from the adapter. It looks like the easiest route is to pull the pump from the adapter.

Which is best?

i believe pulling the pump from the adaptor...I dont know about your setup, but the pump was the easiest thing to do.. The hoses on mine were heart attack inducing (almost) to remove and put on.....

Ok, that does seem easier. Didn't know whether or not there was anything else involved.
