Hi, I tried searching the forum and really didn't find anything definitive.

Has anyone tried Rain-X on their eisenglass? The bottle says not to use it on plastic. Anyone?

Hi All,

Yep, 210

Don't use rain-x on plastic it can make it foggy.

Never liked Rainx. Tried it on glass and (my experiance) was that it was good for a few hours, but then it just wore off.

Thank you for the responses.

Rain X seems to have alot of alcohol in it since it wants to evaporate quick after you rub it on a windshield. I bet it would totally mess the isenglass up. No way should you put that stuff on your plastic. I use 210 and think it works great.

I use rain X on my all the time . I use the liquid stuff in the squeeze bottle and have for years without any problems. The solvent like effect removes alot of stuff and then it leaves a nice protective coating on the plastic...........Pat

I had my isinglass replaced in July... The canvas shop gave me 4 cans of Plexus to use and it does great.. But is also expensive.. 210 is cheaper and does just as good a job.
