Raft recert/repack

I've got a Givens 8 man offshore that due for a recert/repack.
Givens hasn't been the best at communicating regarding their services (i asked them for a quote and what was included - got neither back).

Anyway, they said, "Send it to us or send it to USA Services in Norfolk".

Has anyone used USA before and can you comment on your experience.

I havve not used USA Services, but when you do recert, ask about a 3 year recert instead of one year. I did a recert on our 6 man Winslow and they vacuum pack it for a three year recert for an extra fee (about $200 I think). Saves hassle and money.

I have used USA Services, not for my liferaft but for a repair on my dinghy. I drove the dinghy to them and they repaired it while I waited, since I was from out of town. I looked around their shop killing time and saw them recertifying the liferafts, etc. From my one experience they were good to deal with and the repair on the dinghy did not end up being waranty but their pricing was very fair.
