Have been in SA now since the first of December, (except for the week of Christmas). ... Did not know it could be so cold and rainy in the desert. Nothing here is designed with drainage, so at the end of a down pour, tanker trucks show up and pump water out of the road intersections.
Marina just contacted me that PV23, my '72- 36 C Hat, was hauled, tanks pumped out, boat fully winterized and wrapped. Hope everything is good when I open her back up. Could be six months, or up to three years.
I love reading this forum as it keeps me mentally back home. However, there is a whole new world here to explore!!
