  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
36' SEDAN (1985 - 1987)
I have a set of propellers, 4 blade, 24/28 laying around in the basement. They are made to fit a 1 3/4 shaft. These are old wheels, I think from a 1979 37C I had with DDC J/T 671N - 310HP. They look to be in good condition. I don't have any idea what they are worth. Make a Godfather offer, one I can't refuse.

Thanks,
Tony D

Tony, do you think these could be pitched down to 24"(mine are 24X24 1.75 shafts), and if so about costs? Will 800-786-1272

Wshelton:

You can only add or take out 2 inches of pitch in a propeller.

Here's a a couple pictures of the propellers I have available. I guess you could remove two inches of pitch if need be. 24/28 with 1 3/4 bore.

Tony ,have you sold your props yet? What state do you live in? Bill

Hi Bill,

No, no one seems interested, I live in Buffalo, NY. If you want them take into consideration, shipping, and reconditioning before making an offer. I have a shipping department at work where they should be able to package them safely. I don't really think they will need reconditioning unless they are your main wheels. If you are thinking about them for spares they are probably fine. There are no visible signs of damage, they look good. If you want a few pictures send me your E mail, to adaily3224@aol.com , and I'll forward a few to you. I tried to post pictures but was unsuccessful, I guess I don't quite know how.

Re: Props for sale./More info

Prospective Propeller buyers.

I have had several inquires about the propellers I have for sale. I decided that I should take them to the local prop shop and have them evaluated before quoting a price, or worse yet sending them to someone to find out the stamps on the hubs don't match the pitch. I called today and was told that an evaluation was a service they provide. I also asked about re-pitching, I was told "it depends" I think that means if they have been done once it may not be advisable to do it again. Finally, I asked what a new propeller of this size and material cost, $1,750.00 much more than I thought.
I'll have accurate information and a firm price in the next few days. Sorry about any confusion I have caused, next time I'll have my ducks in a row before I post something for sale.

Tony,

If you still have these props e mail me at [rwurster@royalpin.com] with your price and shipping them to Patillas Puerto Rico 00723. If you wish to call me the number is 317 841 1002 ext 5.

Thanks, Russ

Questover,

I need to follow through with what I said I would do in my previous Post. After I make sure the props are in acceptable condition and are able to be reconditioned. I'll establish a price and try to figure out shipping.

I also owe the other two members that inquired the same information. I have been busy and need to get this done. I'll get them to the propeller shop this weekend.

Thank you,
Tony Daily

I may also be interested -keep me in the loop please.

Richard,
The original post was September 2005. I was suprised when it popped up again. Thanks for the inquiry but they are no longer available.

Thanks,
Tony D
