I have a project for you. I bought a 1988 viking 41 that I was going to make into an express boat. It was struck by lightning and I bought it from the ins. co. The gridge is gone , but the fire never got to the engine room. I talked with the owner of the boat and found that he had just had the engines majored 2 months before the fire. He was proud that the first thing he did after the majors was increase his insurance. He said it cost him like $ 50,000 for the work that was done. It has 671tib and 502 gears, shafts, props, struts, a generator, and everything else but the bridge. It is still a complete boat. I would like to sell it for $ 10,000 obo. Boat is in MD.
