What is the best way to wire 2 under gunnel DC power outlets for a couple of electric reels. Should they be taken off the fuse panels in the back of the engine room or otherwise?

How much power do you need?

I'd probably put in a dedicated panel for that under a gunnel somewhere with sealed switches and breakers, and run that off a spare high-amp fuse on the main panel if you have a spare position.

That way you have circuit protection and a disconnect out there where you can get to it while working the cockpit.

Power is 6 amps per reel by the manufacturer (Kristal Reels). What do you suggest regarding routing of the wires?

I have my air intakes up under the gunnels in the cockpit, so on my boat its easy - the route to the ER is totally open there....
