Hi all, My 1987 has an old fuse panel on the helm locker that looks like it was replaced by a more modern fuse panel. This is for things like VHF and chart platter and depth finder. It is not the autopilot, engine gauges, steering, etc. Somewhere along the way, whatever wiring was originally running power to this panel has been pretty botched up and I can't even tell how it was originally fed. The new panel seems to grab power from somewhere about random and not heavy duty enough for my liking .There is no circuit breaker labeled for it on the main panel.I am wondering, was this most likely something fed directly from the batteries, and if I want to run new power to the fuse block at the helm, should I run them directly like that. Thanks!
