  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
41' DOUBLE CABIN (1962 - 1965)
Several HOF’ers are meeting for lunch on Sunday at Fish Lips, unless there is a requested change in venue before then. Come join us.

The more the merrier, just like FLIBS today.

FLIBS was a FLOP yesterday for HOF attendance, but this little get together is looking good.

Just got confirmation that another EXTREMELY well known MIA member is going to join us. Definitely going to be a UGE time.

Last update. Fish Lips at noon. Rocket launch at 5.

It’s going to be UGE!!

I was going to try to make it but the restaurant choice is suspect. Just a tourist trap. Maybe Scott should pick the place.

You in Florida?

I suggested the restaurant as I’ve eaten there before. I delivered a 58YF for some fine folks who took me there after the deed was done. Strangely enough, there was a rocket launch a day or two later, and we took the 58 up the river a ways and watched.

Delivered a 55’ Lagoon cat a year or two after that and stopped in to see them. Rocket launch the next day too.

I’m beginning to see a pattern here. :)

Sometimes you just have to lower your standards to spend time with friends. Dave knows my food knowledge of the area. Too bad he has to work.

It's probably the best choice of the tourist traps and has a full bar which will prove to be important.

More importantly it's a chance to get a bunch of us together.

Can’t vouch for the company Scott keeps, but his choice in restaurants is excellent. Wish I could have been there as well but somebody had to be something special in the air.

I'm in Michigan. Just wanted to give you some crap. :)

Randy broke the rocket.

I like imported crap. :)

Scott had EVERY opportunity to suggest a spot, but it was indeed more about meeting up in a comfortable, waterfront venue where visiting friends was the priority. It was a good time, and that good time continued with dinner that included a guest who didn’t make the lunch part. Other than boatsb, I can’t even remember the usernames for the other HOF’ers who attended as they’re of the MIA variety.

Speaking of MIA’s, Boss Lady showed up for dinner with me, Scott, and his lovely wife, Marti. I hadn’t seen Chis since we met up in the Keys several years ago. It was definitely good seeing him again too. Spent the night with Scott and Marti, then headed up towards Sanford where I spent the day with Jaxfishgyd aka Charlie Freeman.

Hadn’t seen Charlie in about three years when I unknowingly exposed him to COVID which landed me in the hospital for eleven days about a week later. We had lunch at a great waterfront restaurant in Sanford and then just hung out on the screen porch at his waterfront place in Geneva. Always great visiting with him and his lovely wife, Cheryl.

It’s ass and toes in the sand with Ang today, then it’s watching the election coverage as we did in 2016 on her Hatt. No Hatt this time, but we’re definitely hoping for a repeat of that UGE night.

Flying out of FLL tomorrow at 11AM. No doubt spending time with old friends met via this forum far exceeded the enjoyment of attending FLIBS.
