Plumbing Air Sep and air box drains

I am re-plumbing the A/S and air box drains . I know that Karl said you can use one air box check valve for both sides of a "vee" engine,question is can I also only use one A/S check valve,plumbed like the Air box check valve??? I hope to go get the parts and get this buttoned up soon , It's hot here in MD. Would like to get out on the water today............................Pat

Yes, but I probably would keep both.

Thanks Karl , thats what I did . I cleaned the "spares" and kept them so I can just unscrew the ones on the engine by hand and put a clean one on in a snap.......Pat
