photos

Trying to figure out how to post photos?? manage attachments, browse to find photo and upload. It seems to be loading, but it does not show up on my post ?? am i missing something

I couldn't figure that out either. Now I just post them on www.photobucket.com and then click on the link there and paste it into the post here. It works fine, but it is a couple of extra steps.

Keep the file size less than 80Kb. Otherwise, it goes through the motions and appears to upload, but it's not there.

Photobucket is free.

once you upload the pics from your computer to photo bucket, you need to re size them.

click the "edit" button on the pic, then click on "message board" .

once that is done, reduce that screen, bring up this forum screen, make your reply, reduce this screen, click on the "img" choice below the pic you want to paste here. ( it is copied automatically)

The bring this screen up and paste the pic in your reply.

sounds like a lot, but after a time or two, it goes really fast.

Just download a freeware copy of "Irfanview" (Google it) to resize your photos. Open in Irfanview, click >image >resize/resample and pick a percent to reduce to (I usually use 33%). Save the file and look at the file size in Windows Explorer. If it's less than 80Kb, it'll work.

Then, on a post scroll down to the section right under the "submit reply" button and click "manage attachments" to add your photos to the thread.
