Went for a walk the other day and used my iphone to capture some photos.
At the end of my street there is a small yacht club and here's their boats on the hard. Everything is nice and neat and securely tied down.

Looking across Burlington Harbour to the SE there is the Skyway Bridge and a smaller draw bridge to the channel leading into Lake Ontario and towards Toronto. Been pretty much frozen over but not to thick.

Then just looking SW towards the Niagara, I've enjoyed walking over this bridge for 20+ years and viewing the scenery.

Looks nice, my dad did a lot of business in Canada and said it was a great place. (you are in Canada right?) Is that the duck from the AFLAC commercials???....lol

I have a friend from Wisconsin that talks about ice fishing, do you do much of that? Sounds like it would be interesting....

You know, that last one especially is really good. I had no idea you could get images that good with a cell phone. Amazing.

Capt. Tobb...yep... I'm in Burlington, Ontario - Canada... between Toronto and Niagara Falls. It's a lakeside commuinity along Lake Ontario. I do ice fishing on Lake Simcoe catching lots of white fish and jumbo perch (my fav); when the ice begins to thaw, people come up to Lake Simcoe from MI, OH, IN and more for the jumbo perch during the last two weeks of April and first two weeks of May.

Jim, thanks. I hardly have been using the camera feature on the iphone so thought I'd give it a try. It does do a pretty good job, and to think the guy beside me had a Cannon with a telescopic lens for $5K... I thought mine came out pretty good.

We finally get snow

Finally the good ole Canadian winter arrives with snow from our southern neighbours...lol.
Sorry... I don't have a Hatt..... yet!

Edited: I added a pic, poor quality later that night, just to show the snow has been removed, wouldn't want a pristine Hatt owner refusing to sell to me thinking I wouldn't love her
