I think this is a very different election. I have a B.S. and a D.C. I am a Ind. and have voted Dem. for pres since I was old enough to vote. This year that will change. I ask myself, If I met someone whom bombed the United States would I be friends with him? Would I accept his assistance on anything espc. politics?
NO! This alone brings BO's ability to make reasonable decisions in to question.
As a doctor and a small business owner, his health-care plan has the makings for a disaster. Every private practice doctor I have talked with, not just D.C.s, are saying things have slowed and they are trying to hold on to all their employees. Raise my taxes and I will have to let go of someone, as will many others. Force me to pay for their insurance and my employees will face a pay cut.
He does not believe in my right to carry a handgun to defend myself or my family. He wants to pour more money in to an education system that is the best funded in the world but seriously lags behind much of the world when it comes to math and science. He wants to increase social services. He wants to protect Social Security, a service that fiscally can not be sustained much longer. He plans to expand EIC, which is nothing more than a giveaway. I do not have a problem with someone not paying taxes but I take issue when you get PAID more than you put in. Now we get to the possibility of his appointments to the Supreme Court. He stands by his party 96% of the time so we should expect that that will continue and with a Dem. Congress nothing less than the Constitution of the United States hangs in the balance!
This election is so much more than the BS commercials and rhetoric from the talking heads on tv. I seriously hope that folks will look in to the facts and the stances of person they choose to elect. This election has the potential to reshape the United States as we know it.
