I think it could be real, the Pacific Northwest has manly tides. Here is an example from a local tv station:

Looks like a VERY good reason to know the local tides and closely check your sounder in the potential swing radius before dropping anchor.

Looks like Photoshop to me. Look closely at the hull and you can see were they did a poor job of blending the foreground to the background

I also thought Photoshop, but the shadow outlines look very good plus reflection of props.
