Why abandon when you can donate and get a tax deduction?

Tax deductions are useless if you're operating in the red. It's a sad situation all the way around.

Just had this discussion with a friend of mine last night. He keeps his boat in a pretty expensive marina and according to the dock master there, they have been taken possession several boats that are behind in slip fees. The yard isn't actively seeking them out. The owners are turning them over in lieu of paying the yard bill.

I'll bet there are no Hatteras boats abandoned. Thanks for the heads up, I am looking for an old boat with a sound hull around 19 ft more or less. Being retarded... er retired, I figured I would like to build a classic style runabout with mahogany/teak decking and interior. By interior I mean the seating areas. A fibreglass hull is much more desireable for this purpose and it's not ever going to be a real classic anyway so I could cheat some for the sake of practicallity. Now all I have to do is find the hull.

I know someone selling a real nice Topaz 24 center console with a Cummins diesel !!

I think I'll wait until I see it floating down the ICW around Lauderdale. :D

Soon they will be useless if your operating in the black. The new Bobama plan would limit the dedution to 28% on charitable donations. Mr Bobama feels he's much more qualified to decide who gets charity than the people who actually donate the money. Major charities like the Salvation Army feel this will cut down donations substantialy. Somewhere I remeber hearing the dems are the compasionte party oh well hope and change for everyone!!!!
