  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
39' CONVERTIBLE (1994 - 1997)
Does anyone have the right part numbers for a raw water impller kit? I want to put new impeller kits in. Can't find the data in all the Hatteras info with the boat. 1996 Hat 39C- DD 6-71 J & T's 425 hp. I want to make sure I get the right ones. A good place to order them from would help too.

Thanks

First thing I'd do is to email the boats Hull ID No. to Sam's and see what they come up with.

If it's a Jabsco try looking on the back of the cover plate. Sometimes your only sight angle can make it very difficult to get any data and the pump may need to come off.

Also, you can try taking a few photos (with a ruler or measuring tape close by) and posting them on this Thread. Then maybe some of us can at least get close to what you've got.

It's a pump dependent issue. The engine serial number will only tell them what the boat was born with. Hopefully you can read the plate on the pump.

These impellors are pretty common. I'd just pull the impellors out. The numbers are on the impellors. Odds are any local marine store has them if you need them immediately. If the boat isn't going to be operating for a few days, just order them.

It's very simple if it's a jabsco pump there are only 2 diffrent impellers one is longer than the other. Pull it out if you don't have a Jabsco book you can proubably go to there website and match it up. If it's very old it might have fewer blades on it but you replace with the current higher # of blades.

If you run into trouble PM me I have all the books and with a few basic measurments I can get you a part # or ship you the impellers.
