I have just got an 9.8HP Tohatsu with electric start and am planing to buy a battery for it. I know what size/capacity battery I want but my dinghy when it is stored in davits is in upright position (90 degrees to horizontal) so the battery which I plan to secure on the bottom of the dinghy will be in the same situation. Will the sealed led acid battery work in this application or I will have to get a different type of the battery that can be stored in any position?
