Glad to see the Orcas having some fun with the speedboat!
I was paddling a Kayak near FIU in Miami, at Beer Can island, and a cigarette boat was loudly idling into Arch creek. Up out of the water next to me, was a dolphin who jumped about ten feet into the air, perfectly oriented to get a good look at the cigarette boat in the distance. He seemed to hang in the air horizontal, perfectly pointed at the boat. Looked to me he was really interested in getting a good look at it, with the typical dolphin smile on his face.
Who knew they were speedboat fans! Once a dolphin family crowded around our loudly idling boat, holding vertical positions to look at us, and I turned off the engines for fear of the props hitting the baby dolphin. Once the engines were turned off, they lost interest and swam away.
