We were out for 4 days cruising and several WOT checks resulted in engine coolant temps going north of 195 after only 5 minutes. So it's time for the HE cleaning...
Not sure I'll do it now or in the fall but, as I said on a different thread, I've found that on our boat, it really requires a cleaning every season if I really want to run at planing speeds for unlimited periods. Since I hardly ever do that, it doesn't really matter, I guess, but since the boat is SUPPOSED to be able to do that, I prefer that it be able to.
