Onan 7,5 kw MDJB year 1981

I have decided to re-new my Onan that worked correctly just today, but I have to say that I have no done a correct maintenance as it is not daily used as two big brothers dd 6-71 325hp

I would like find some pictures or documentation before touch it.
Are there web site or friendly suggestions on this matter??

You can down load manuals on the net. I have the same unit and there not very hard to work on as long as you can get at it. I had fuel pump, water pump, glow-plug, control wiring woe's and a major issue with the governor speed control. Once I got through these issues it's been running great.

Just be sure to watch your oil for milky water color...those model Onan's are notorius for raw water pump leaks into the crankcase oil....

There are sites that specialize is various types of manuals. Ask Google for help...or...it would be a shock, call Cummins, who bought out Onan and tried to make it disappear; maybe they will help.

Smokestak dot com also has a great thread on older ONANs (and others) so look in their "antique engines" area. Helpful cross reference info for parts the Cummins folks no longer support.
