ONAN 20kw Generator

The generator was removed running and replaced with new. The only problem the gererator had was the ring gear which the shop said was obsolete. Anyway I bought the generator to put in my 46c I'm restoring just in case i needed it. While I got lucky and don't need it. So the generator is in great shape. It's a L432 4 cylinder appears to be a 83 model. $4000

On Ebay there is a 15kw for $6000 so I think 4 is more than Fair

The ring gear is still available from a government surplus place in Texas. I replaced mine just before the stator went out.

BTW, I still have the whole unit in my barn if you need any parts.

I've heard of the Government Surplus in another thread but nobody has any more information than
there is a place. Do you know anything more?

It was located in San Antonio and called Alamo something or other. I'll look to see if I can find the invoice, but a Google search of the part number is how I originally found it.
