Onan 20kw exhaust mixer

Yesaterday , while chasing down another problem on one of my O Mans I discovered the exhaust mixer had been leaking. All parts to the job are available except the mixer itself ( onan #154-2768). I was told by Cummins that they" just don't supply that part anymore " . Anyone have any sources for this part or if anyone can recommend an exhaust fabricator to make this I would greatly appreciate it ........Pat

I did that a few yrs ago on a Kohler, used a 2x1/2x2 inch bronze tee with appropriate nipples, worked great and inexpensive.

I know where there is a running takeout that has been sitting on the shop floor for at least 4 years. It was out of a freshwater boat, so that part is likely okay.

Call Crosswinds Marine Service in Whitehall, MI and talk to Dale. You may be able to buy the whole unit for parts.

Try Marine Manifold out on Long Island NY, they made one for a buddy who had an Onan 15kw that wasn't available. One of these custom exhaust shops has to have built what you have, or can fabricate one..
