Hatteras Model
Not Currently A Hatteras Owner
I'm getting ready to list these on the new classified section of my site (brother is installing now) but thought since Hatteras used a lot of these I would post them here too for HOF members benefit...

They are motors & mounting cages for the Cruisair EFB & EFL style "Blow Thru" air handlers from the early 60's thru, and into the 90's...

Cruisair no longer offers replacement motors for these air handlers, and the air handlers have been discontinued as well...

The larger one is for a EFB-16 model 115 volt...Last known Retail (2009 price book) was $266.00 for the motor alone....No cage or fan blade...

The Smaller one is for either a EFL 12 or 16 (one of two motors) or the single motor EFB-4 thru 12...Last known retail (again 2009 price book) was $154.00 for the motor alone.

Depending on your size air handler...You may need to swap to your old fan blade...They used the same motor for differing sizes but blade sizes were different...

Note...The smaller one is the latest replacement motor offered toward the end of production...It is a split capacitor motor....I was told back then by Cruisair that they could no longer source the original shaded pole motor...This split capacitor motor does not like to slow down much with a standard fan speed control like in the 3 knob controls...One of the many reasons they stopped production...Along with the fact that they were noisy, didn't move much air in the first place, and really should be run on high most of the time anyway...
However if you have a FX1 digital control that has a Split Capacitor setting in it's programming for fan motor type they do slow down pretty well...

The Larger one is older & a Shaded Pole design that works well with the standard speed control...

Since these are getting rare...I'm taking offers plus freight...

I don't have PM setup here (Too much to keep up with) but you can contact me thru the link at the bottom of every one of my posts here on HOF...Then click on the Contact Steve link at the top of the page there...

Update...

My Classified section is now up & running...

It has several levels for folks to list stuff (first level is free) We also have different categories of marine items (Not just A/C) and will be adding more items as it grows...(I have more used items to clean up & list)

Just in case anyone is interested...I just cleaned up & tested a 16K Cruisair 115 volt Self Contained unit & listed it.

We are not competing with Sam's so I think I'm Ok here, but Mods please let me know if you feel differently & I will delete this post.

Anyone wanting to list something...Feel Free...It never hurts to get more exposure...

I have held off listing the above motors to give the HOF members first chance to make offers, and realize it is a holiday weekend...If I get no response on them soon I will list them in my classified...

Anyway...Check it out & let me know what you think: http://marine-ac.com/classifieds/

Happy T-Day Weekend to Everyone...
Steve~
