Okay, Port Washington school Manorhaven Elementary...

We are now looking at school districts (and before anyone starts, I don't care about your feelings on property taxes, okay). We Understand Brewers Capri is in this district and are wondering about the area, school district etc... Is this a great place to raise our child compared with Weehaken NJ...

I'm a shining by-product of Port Washington - grew up and still live there, and keep my boat at Brewer Capri. Biggest attraction for most to Port Washington is excellent train line to NYC and good school district. I'll PM you my cell number.

Good commute to NYC, I considered the spot myself as a live-aboard when I was getting divorced (ugh!!) ... Schools are good, nice "downtown area" with lots of restaurants .... you could do a lot worse.
And ... a fun spot to get around by 13 whaler .... buy mine ... it's close and cheap.
