Hatteras Model
43' DOUBLE CABIN (1970 - 1984)
Does anyone know the type of oil that goes in the trim tabs for a 1980 43 triple cabin motor yacht? Also the # of the bulb that goes in the bildge pump monitoring panel?
Thanks
Mere

The trim pump on the '96 Cnvt is the same as the '86 Donzi. Earlier trim pumps used Power steering fluid, later pumps used ATF. Donzi and Hatt use ATF. They are both a Bennett system.

Hope it helps.

The best fluid to use for any of our marine hydraulic systems is aircraft mil spec. 5606. Texaco makes it. Just ask for mil5606 fluid. Works best.

The Bennett trim tabs of that era take ATF. The steering system should only have the Mil Spec 5606.
