In my area, every auto store has 40w diesel oil (you do NOT want a multi weight). I usually get mine from NAPA as they have 5 gal containers and not just the one gal ones.

If you need oil for a 2 stroke DD, here is an acceptable list of CF@ rated oils:

(all straight 40wt)
