Sorry, I need one for a gas powered model (I think) not sure if one from a diesrl engined boat will work....Anybody know if the sender is different?

Thanks

Chris

Make sure its the gauge that's bad and not the sender. Look on ebay for the gauge. If you need a sender, its an oddball and they're not easy to find. I have a source but the info is not handy to me right now.

I found the sender info that I posted here on the forum:

"I have managed to figure out that these old oil pressure gauges use a 0-90 ohm sender. I was able to source them from Instrument Sales and Service in Portland, Oregon www.partdeal.com They were manufactured by Maxima Technologies in El Paso. We installed them and they seem to work properly."

Good point, it pegs when the key is on, even with the sender disconnected, if the circuit is open, that might do it, I'll check the sender, thanks for the info!
