Have Crusader 454's. oil cooler leaking water. took it off and acid washed it out then put the torch on the cap that was leaking. it came right off. turns out the guts are braised but the caps are put on with regular solder. found out why it was leaking. looks like someone damaged the top edge of the can when they took it apart before. ground down the top to make it more even then took to radiator shop to have them solder it back total cost 27.00. cost me more in gas to drive over and get the thing friday night and bring it back. had the whole thing done including paint by saturday afternoon. now ready to reinstall. also noted the water flow before and after acid wash, big difference.
