My daughter is getting married in Rhode Island a week from Saturday. This thing better blow itself out by then or we'll have to change the father daughter dance from Sunshine on my Shoulders to Danny Boy

I'm fairly confident that the yellow blob will clear out by a week from Sat. I'm more worried about Danny lingering around in the Carib for a week then charging north.

The news local to SWFl just dissed Danny into a non event as far as we are concerned. Since no one predicted CAT 3, uh, what are we supposed to believe?

Someone call Al Gore, he'll know what to do. He has all those Global Warming models, so he knows the future. I almost said he can predict the future but that's not giving him enough credit. He "Knows" the future. Maybe if we all park our boats, stop buying stuff so we don't need trucking/shipping and stop driving our SUV's we can prove him wrong and save all our coastal beaches and the whole state of Florida from becoming nothing more than a new reef.

As for me, we own a lot of property in Pennsylvania so I'm going to drive our SUV extra and hope my Future Coastal Pennsylvania property raises in value.
