NYC Boat show.

Well the NY show is December 30th thru Jan 7th. I am thinking of going in on the 30th. I usually go Jan 1 less crowds but wife does not want to go then. So I figured let see if anyone else is going and when. Does anyone want to get together in there and do dinner and drinks after the show????? I usually go to Virgil's for some great BBQ they also have other food for the few that don't like BBQ Also full bar and Great beer selection.

Sat huh? Well it's a haul from Boston and I have plenty to do on the tubbbbbb, but given I've been whinning about never meeting the Hatt guys I suppose if I can get the g-friend to give me a pass I'm in. Who's in charge of the phone list?? Maybe we should contact the Bird and get him to be the hostess.......How about we have a hatt-Bert drink off, got lots of bert buddies in the tri state area.

Anyone headed in to NYC from South-central CT? Was thinking of driving in from Clinton on the 30th or 31st. I work at the Clinton-Unilever facility and we could drop cars there and ride in together. PM me if interested.

I will be in Boston, the NY the following week. It would have been great to go to the show and mmet some fellow forum members! Better planning next year, as my family is in Boston, and my wife's in NY.

Probably on FRI with my brother in law who will be in from NY. My wife and his fiancee may join us for the early afternoon, but I plan on spending the morning there. How about you? I would love to meet up with others for a drink. I assume that Stan Miller will have the 54 there, unless it has been sold recently.

Well I went to the show yesterday and met up with Nick. Show was quite don't know if that was because of being first day or due to economy . Went out for a nice dinner and BEERRRRSSS and then went and watched the ball drop in Time square So next year I will be posting earlier

Yes, the "chlorox bottle" show was quiet! So we saw whatever we wanted without long waits.

The BBQ dinner, beeerrrrrssss and company were great and we got to see the ball drop at Times Square before the other 100 Million folks in the country!
