Now the price of gas rises due to ethanol!

They've found yet another way to increase the price of gas when the price of crude doesn't conveniently go up...

"Ethanol is up substantially in the last couple of weeks, and it makes a mark on gasoline prices," Lundberg said.

All softs (corn, oats, soy, wheat, etc) are up massively since Ben started his little games. Most have doubled, some are up even more.

Obama just announced an intent to force ethanol content to 15% from 10% too - despite apparently knowing that some older engine cannot tolerate the higher blend.

Both are of course going to result in materially higher gas prices.
