Ok so 21/2 weeks ago I come down the stairs and slip and blow out my knee. Surgery 2 wweeks ago and Sat morning were off to Orcacoke Island for the weekend on the boat. I can't walk but I'll be damned If I cant drive the boat!

Hope it wasen't on the boat where you slipped. But wherever, I hope you installed some non-skid or something to prevent futur acrobatics

Ocracoke is a delightful place. Haven't been there in years.

Oh, and there is another delightful place on the next island north called something like "Hatt..." Check it out!

Thanks Erich, Just HAVE to get out some. Just don't tell Mark Wertman (my doctor) he already yelled at me! Six more weeks and I'll be able to bend it some!

When you get there, hobble across the street to the Pelican and have a cold one and .10 shrimp. It doesn't get much better... well the view is better at the Jolly Roger... either way I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.

Don't worry about Mark... he's just over protective of his work... and rightly so.

Just take about 660mg of aleeve, 800mg of Ibuprofen, and 1 gallon of margaritas and you will never know you had hurt your knee or even had surgery.
