8-12 inches of snow forecast for Annapolis area tomorrow and Tuesday. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Hi All,

It's been tough here also (in MA) but I think we're just going to be brushed by Tuesday's storm.

I'm hoping we (NC - MA) transition into spring soon, actually I'll take the high 40's and no snow.

My in-laws live north of Houlton Me, they have 8+ feet on the ground, basically up to the gutters on the house. Then there are enormous piles where plows/blowers ect have piled removed snow.

And it's wicked cold up there, and the wind whips across the potato fields.

I don't know how those people do it. It's a hermits existence for 4 months.

The older I get the more I dislike the cold and the snow.....

No kidding. I used to wonder why some old folks move to the South.

Now I wonder why they don't ALL move there.

We are supposed to have warmer weather this coming weekend. I have the weekend off, which means pulling props, finishing replacing engine room hoses, getting the cover off (I hope) and getting ready for launch. Although not on time, I think.

I might take a photo of Blue Note in the snow, too. It will give me something to think about in July and August, and make me grateful for the summer weather. Not that I complain about it. Along with disliking winter weather, I find that hot weather is much more enjoyable than it ever used to be.

Was 83 here today... But up to 3" of rain forecasted to hit between tonight and Tuesday, then back in the upper 70's-low 80's rest of the week...
I LOVE winter snow storms.. I can watch it on the evening news all year round...

The thing I like best about winter weather is watching it on TV from San Diego. :)

Yeah I'm irritated too. We have today and tomorrow off for "spring break" and I had planned to catch up on some outside work and finish painting in the E.R. Even if I do the painting I'm going to freeze my cha-chas off in there.

This is why I try never to complain about the heat when our summers get hot and humid.

Outside my window it looks like it did three weeks ago. A huge pain in the butt. I just hope it melts quickly. No sign of that today, though.

I drove thru it last night coming thru DC it was like a blizzard.

Hey Jim

I just heard your favorite team is planning to open the baseball season with "Electric Blanket Night!

Maybe the real solution is 2 boats. A 30 footer to enjoy your favorite haunts in July and August up north, and a 40 footer in South Florida for the other 10 months?

Eventually you realize that it's too darn hot up there in Summer.

Big difference Charlie and glad the wind is gone. Sitting here now on the boat watching a steady rain, but Weds is supposed to be 75 and sunny.

And what exactly is the woman on the aft sun pad doing?

Not sure, but it appears to require both hands.

I count three. And those are just the ones you can see.

As for the hot weather, I like it more and more. OK, it gets humid. I don't mind. I have AC for that.
