Northstar 6000i

I have a Northstar 6000i chart plotter, tried to use it and found out that by pushing the chart selector on the unit twice to display the boat position on the chart, GPS position of the boat is displayed but not the chart.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't know where you are, but there is a shop in NC who repair these units. Marine Electronics of The Outer Banks, in Nags' Head, NC. Contact them- if there is something wrong with it, they can tell you whether it is repairable. If you like these units, even though they are old, they are worth fixing.
