Hatteras Model
37' CONVERTIBLE (1977 - 1982)
We are anxiously awaiting details of the northbound Yachtsmanwillie and his trusty side kick 'Biff' and the 'Band of Roudys'. Today is the scheduled departure which should be a volume all by itself.

Could be the makins of a new book "Hunt for White December".
Blow the mains, stow the vanes, down periscope and away they go. :D

need photos like mario did., is Biff actualy going.?

If he could break away from the country club's pheasant egg and truffel breakfast, he would go.

I just got off the phone with Biff. He's running slightly behind schedule. It would seem that he had some chrome work done on the Gulfstream (he has renamed it 'Flash'). Also when installing the 22" bling bling wheels, they discovered that they had to modify the wheel wells in order to retract the gear. In keeping with the motif, the pilot, Juan has hung fuzzy dice from the compass and dingo balls on the glare shield. Juan was not happy when the sound system was not carried into the cockpit, but both the FAA and the FCC complained that the salsa music in the background was making communication difficult.
So, Biff is on the way. He's bringing his wet suit and snorkle just in case the anti submerge valves on the sub should fail.

More to follow.

Did I mention, Biff has a dark side.

You don't say.....be sure to post photos.

Turns out, Biff can't make it. But low and behold his wife, Buffy, was cruisin the food stamp line to find an unworthy, undeserving character for a charity project. She found one and it turns out to be our own beloved Freebird. Seems he was there gathering enough for the sub trip north. So now ol' Bird has a free airplane ride on the 'FLASH' all the way to Mobile (he won't have to hitch hike after all). Ain't it strange how things happen?

This all sounds just grand. I can't wait to hear and/or see the details.

Biff?? as in biff a roonie??
If Juan gets to be a handfull, drop a note and I'll have my buddy at the INS look into it. And my girlfriends , boss's pilot, Jerome is always looking for pick up work.
Thudddddd

The saga continues.
Well, it looks like ol' Freebird won't make it after all. It seems the private jet (FLASH) that was going to bring him blew a tire on takeoff roll and piled up next to the runway. I guess those 22" tires are'nt the best for airplanes. Anyway, ol' Crazybird is fine. Just got his feathers ruffled a bit, but he won't be on the sub as it ventures north. It's hard to imagine what YachtsmanBill must be going through. How can the sub navigate north without the Squawkbird on the foredeck with a lead line calling the depth. Those subs draw a lot of water. I guess the sub ride is going to be fraught with boredom and uneventness. God, I feel their pain.

Yachtsmanbill is now just south of Columbus, Ms. He says his engines are running good. He described it as WAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH. That was either his engine sound or he was trying to cough up a really large hairball. Anyway, he would be overnighting near there and going again in the morning. Film at 11. More news as it develops.

anymore news from Yachtsman Willy and crew? I am off to DC tomorrow. Freebird is sick.

Well,
I am not in the loop on this but I did hear from a "little birdie" that yachtsmanbill is at Aqua Yacht Harbor near Counce, TN. They have apparently been able to offer him the services he needs, and he is in search of a rental car to return to Mobile to retrieve his truck.
