  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
45' CONVERTIBLE-Series II (1984 - 1992)
Very nice old Hatteras. He's got more than $49,000 in the Hard Top and Paint Job. The Listing should read BUY a Hard Top and a Paint Job, Get a Hatteras for FREE!

To think you can buy this boat for probably $40K +/- and that guy on craigslist wanted $60K for what looked like a Sinker 46. I love to see an old classic that someone took the time and spent the money to keep nice. Kudos to who ever own this boat.

I know this boat. She really IS a nice one. The owner is one of our members and takes good care of his boats. If this were a few years ago, someone would have bought her and stuffed in the same Cummins engines as I put in mine. As is, she is an economical cruiser with Cat engines that should be good for quite a lot longer. She's also in a shed, so she's stayed nice. For 49K, you could not take some of the free identical boats people have gotten here and make them look as nice as this one.

What in the world !!!! It must be a fire sale. Love those covered slips and boy they must really protect the boat from the elements. I still cant believe the low price.

This could easily be the buy of this Spring season. Two trained eyes have called it "nice"????

If someone hasn't jumped on this today, there is something terribly wrong with this market.

The best buy is always the nicest boat!

Wasn't there a thread about this on the HOF? Or am I thinking of a different boat?

That 36 probably would have brought almost twice the price before fuel cost skyrocketed. OTOH, it might still be close today if they'd put as much effort into the machinery as they did with the hull.

Sad state of affairs (economically speaking), but a beautiful boat. Hope they do well with the sale.

Hmmmm.....Eric?
Call me.

Hey Jeff, it was good catching up. Thanks for the free promo on this boat.
