Your boat looks fantastic and you folks are really getting some good use of it. We have a sistership (1982, 48' Series I MY with 6/92 Detroits) and we love the boat. Last summer (2009) we had 4 family members from Barendrecht stay with us for a couple of weeks. We hope to go to The Netherlands next year to visit with relatives. Perhaps we can get together at that time.

I think that the 48 Series I MY was an outstanding design. Unfortunately, there were only about 30 or so built. The factory claims that it cost too much to build them as compared to some of their other models. I believe it is our gain as present owners.
