New Hatteras owner borned

At 5:32 PM Sunday night, "Ms Katie Freeman" was born up in Nashville, Tenn.

Although she popped out 4 weeks early, within minutes she announced to her mom and dad...... " I can't wait to go on a cruise on Pop Pop's Hatteras"...

This is grand kid number 6 for us......

But the first to say that at such an early age..... All the others were between 4-6 weeks old before announcing the same thing....

Charlie, Congratulations Gramps.. I agree there's nothing like grandkids. I have two granddaughters and I must say, they really make my life complete. Of course you remember the description of grand children......They are God's gift for putting up with the first bunch.

You are truly blessed, enjoy every minute with them..

Congrats Charlie! I heard the same words from my son when he was born on August 5th, 2008. A mere 1 1/2 WEEKS later I had him on my Hat 5 miles into the Atlantic as his initiation into the Hatteras Club. He can't yet type and post on the forum....I'm working on it though!

This weekend I had my niece on board and she just had this BIG smile and kept saying Boat Boat she will be two this summer. Well I didn't know until later her Mom told me every time they pass a boat she flips out and just points and says Boat Boat!!! Looks like I have another first mate in the works!

Congrats Charlie. Six is a lucky number. That's how many my parents have right now. One of my niece's first sentence was "No like Uncle boat". Smart girl as this was before I owned my Hatteras. Now, she likes coming on Uncle's boat.

Hey Sparky, believe it or not before you know it your favorite boating buddy will be all grown up and making you a grandfather. Let's see what happens when you bring him up this summer and he meets Noel's daughter. She's a real cutie, so be forewarned. Noel are you out there?
