Hatteras Model
43' DOUBLE CABIN (1970 - 1984)
Not quite two months old, our new and only grandson, became our Third Generation Hatteras boater enjoying his first ride today.

Generation 1 and III

Generation II and III

It was a great day on the boat today.

Regards

What a beautiful family and what better way to celebrate entering this world than a cruise on the family Hatteras. I have a one month old grandson and can't wait for his first cruise. Enjoy.

Art,
Thanks. Hope you can take your new grandson out soon.
A traditional boat, enjoyed by generations, making memories.
It's up there.
Regards,

Congratulations Vincent. You're a lucky man!

Congratulations. Can't imagine not having a boat for my boys to enjoy. I've owned boats longer than I've had kids so both of my boys started boating as infants. My son always tells me how someday he's going to take me out on his boat. That will be a very proud day for me.

A beautiful family indeed! Congrats on the new arrival!

Beautiful event, pictures and thoughts. I pulled my 15 year old along with me today to help change all the oil and filters before lay up. He was a somewhat resistant Hatteras second generation!

Vincent, Best wishes to you, your family and especially the little First Mate.

Hard to believe that little guy will someday run the boat. My 14YO runs our 34 right now which is still hard to believe. Love the brand loyalty but any kid that gets to grow up on the water on any boat (or dock) is going is going to have a lifetime of memories at only 18. Enjoy that little guy.

What a beautiful child. The other ones hardly look old enough to have kids.... I must be aging faster than I thought....

I appreciate all of your kind comments.

Regarding Jim's comment about aging, our youngest child (the one holding the baby and the Hatteras cup) is now 24, but I also cannot see them as looking anywhere near that old.

We bought this boat for our 25 wedding anniversary in 2008. Lilly Marie was built in 1983, the same year that we were married. I Hope to age as well as a traditional Hatteras.

Regards,
