New Boat Name

Okay guys, I just confessed to the tech guys that I am thinking of selling "Freebird" and settling down with "Nancy Cay". I've been spending quite a bit of time on her lately, and it makes more sense to keep her as I really don't need or want two boats. She is more than capable of taking me anywhere I want to go, and she is plenty big enough for a single divorced guy who doesn't know what the hell to do or where to do it.

"Nancy Cay" was a combination of the PO's wife's first name and his middle name. I never intended to keep the name, but I never bothered to rename it and take the old name off the stern.

I had planned to rename it "Freebird", but then I found the 58. I really did plan to bring the 58 back to TN and sell the 41, but for better or worse, things just didn't work out that way. Maybe God was and still is trying to tell me something. We'll see as only time will tell.

I suppose if I'm going to make a new start in my life, I may as well come up with something new for the 41. I'm kinda thinking along the lines of "Disjointed Custody", but I am open to suggestions. I'm sure you all can come up with something creative that is suitable for my situation.

At the risk of looking like I am talking to myself, I just tried to look at the profile of a new member but was denied access. Made me paranoid for a minute as I thought I had made somebody mad already.

It did give me an idea for a new name though, how about "Goin To Sea Alice"? My compass needle always points north, but it might be kinda funny.

I'll just keep it up til I get it right!

18-30? Nah, she needs a boat longer than that! Besides, I only need to raise one kid. I am definitely not a trophy hunter although this gentleman does prefer blondes!

So this what you have to do dename Freebird with a denaming Party, then have a denaming party for Nancy Cay then have a naming party for the 41' to become FREEBIRD Huh do you see a Pattern here

Ah, there's no future in the past, so Freebird is one and done. I may be Free after the divorce, but I'll remember her giving (or taking) me the Bird.
