Hatteras leadership...hello? Anybody home?

The one with the tower has two 500hp Cats..C7's I believe..

Looks gorgeous

Very nice looking boats.

Now why would anyone buy that when they could buy the orginal, repower it, repaint it, upgrade the systems and just go crazy with it for half of the price?

The new one is 35 foot and a lot roomier.

It's a big improvement. The 31 was a great day boat but a bit cramped.

Because there are boaters, and then there are yachtsmen. What's the difference? About 30 years of experience, give or take.

Half the price?...Try 20% of the price! The new ones will leave a mark on your wallet that wont rub out! Its been fun watching the drone their using to film from.. The operator said it will make 40 mph, barely fast enough to keep up with Moppie and Screaming Eagle!

It would look outstanding with a small fishing tower. So sleek.

I would think right around $650 - $700K would get one out the door.

I said you could "go crazy". That's why I put it at 50%. Wouldn't that be fun?

2 new 500 hp engines, trains and running gear is $125 or more just to start.

Add $40k for paint. $10 for Windows, interior another $15 and it's still a 31.

I know they redo many of them but at 35 foot I see the benefits over the old 31.

Depends on your needs, I guess. Could always refurb an old 35

I never liked the 35 . For some reason the style and layout of the 31 was more for fishing.

Yawn. Just clorox-bottle me. what's bayliner or is it meridian got to offer? These new designs suck. Time to buy a Kabota or maybe high-end KIA.

hahahahahaha....that is so true.....thats what happens when people who don't know how to spell BOAT run a BOAT company....

I saw one of the new 35s at the Annapolis show. They are beautiful boats. They ought to be, for what they cost. They said they had sold eight or ten of them, I think.

The old 35 doesn't look like their new boat. It's basically a convertible like a Hatteras 36, first series, but not as pretty. And different type of hull under it.

I think they'll sell every new 35 they can make, and good for them. I would hate to see the Bertram name get toe-tagged.
