I don't have a fresh water washdown on the bow area of my boat. I'd like to add a spigot or hose bib connection of some type so I can easily attach a hose when needed. I'm looking for ideas of what to use. I think it can be located on a vertical surface where the platform is for the front cleats. I don't particularly like the original connections used by Hatteras elsewhere on the boat (picture attached). By the time you put the fitting on the connection it creates a pretty large protruding object that is ripe to step on. Any alternative ideas?? Thanks.View attachment 65407dockside water 3.webp

Here’s a flush mount. Google marine exterior water faucet.

I have the Hatteras/Parker quick disconnect on the bow for the washdown. It is mounted on the gunnel facing straight up so no chance of stepping on it.

i pulled the flapper out of the checkvalve on the city water hookup, put a Y on the fitting so i can have city water or hook a hose up and use it as a washdown

All good suggestions, thanks much.
