CONGRATS, Tod! That is one sweet ride. Great color too. Contenders are great boats and one of the few center console brands I would consider other than my Ocean Master.

I remember crossing Lake Pontchartrain one day when it was REAL sloppy with 4-5' tight chop and I was clipping along at about 24kts. Nobody else was out that day, save one 36' Contender with triples that was making a few more knots than I and passed me. I gave the guy a "thumbs up"!

Will your davits lift that up on the deck of the 60? I bet the cradle needs to be modified.

Is that a 31' ?
My buddy has a 27' with twin 250 Yamahaaaaas..... And are they QUIET compared to the old styles...

It is a 2001 27 Open with 200 HPDIs, Generator, AC, forward canvas enclosure, cold plate system, auto pilot, and 12kw Furuno Navnet system. Cruise 30-40mph @ 2mpg, WOT is 50mph at about 1mpg.

It is the only one I have found set up even close to this. It makes it a little easier to step down from the 60C.
