Plenty of good captains that will do the delivery for you. If you are planning on doing it before the winter you better hurry up. That window is closing and can close fast. A couple of years ago I had to move my boat for winter storage. Moved the boat the day after Thanksgiving, nice 60° day. Temps dropped 20° next day and we had 10" of snow two days later. After that it stayed in the 20's and 30's. That was in Barnegat, NJ.Looking at buying a 38 Hatteras with rebuilt (400 hrs) 6-71's. How do i go about finding somone to transport it to Annapolis MD?

Only one way to find out if she's worth pursuing. You need to go look at it or have someone you trust take a look. 10K might be a little high. You can easily figure out the cost. I'd expect she should burn around 2 gls per mile. Map it out and figure the stops. $600 per day should cover calf and expenses. A bit more if you need a mate. You may have additional prep expenses but that's all maintenance you'd need to do anyway. That is the boat I mentioned earlier also on yachtworld. The broker told me it floats and had good a/c. No documentation on engine rebuilds everything else needs to be gutted....
