Need New Batteries FAST!

The world biggest procastinator now needs 2 new 8D batteries by Thur morning installed in my 36C. I know there has been exhaustive talk about batteries but I really need the quick and dirty for the following application. 2 8D's 3208 Cat Naturals 210HP, 7.5KW Onan, house supply. No other batteries on boat, Gen and house on 1 battey, engines on the other with parallel switch and ability to switch one to other etc... What is my best battery buy. Don't anchor alot without generator running so long amp hours does not seem to be my priority, however, lots of running in colder weather especially early spring and usually through Christmas on the Chesapeake. Thanks for the replies.

I just bought 2 new 8ds from napa. 1550 amp heavy duty commercial for 149.00 ea plus tax. Thought it was a good price. Where can you buy something that weighs 140#s and will split your gut when you install them for 1.5 boat bucks these days!

Same here. I had NAPA bring in 4 for me. Ordered them at 8 in the am, had them at 3 in the pm. They've been in for a month and perform fine.

A friend recently got me an 8D from an industrial battery place where an 1150 cranking amp 8D was $80. Probably won't last like an Interstate, but I couldn't turn it down. Back in 2000, I found the local green Interstate Battery truck riding down the road and ended up buying a couple of 1450ca 8D's for $120 each. One lasted 5 1/2 yrs, other is still going strong after 6 yrs. Because you need these batteries in such a short time frame, I'm afraid you will not have the luxury of shopping price very much.
