Need Information On How To Or Who Builds Hard Tops

Hello All

I would like to replace the bimini top on my 61' MY with a hard top does anyone know who in the Tampa area does this kind of work. Or has anyone built one if so how did you go about it? I have done lots of work on this boat and a few major changes but I don't have a clue about how to consruct a hard top any help would be apreciated.

Even though they're not on the gulf coast of FL, have you contacted Slane Marine? It's possible they make one.

Though not local, Atlantic Towers in NJ will put a good unit together and ship it down to you. Good quality, low price.

Slane Marine in NC will do an outstanding job for you but may be a bit more expensive.

There are likely a few local Florida shops but I wouldn't know who to recommend.

American Towers(?) in Stuart. They were in the FILBS at Bahia Mar if that helps you to find them.

Oh and as far as building a hard top yourself....It is just not cost effective. I have all the tools benders welders and such to do it but the guys who build this stuff have it down to a science and can do it cheaper and better(for the most part). Mr Slane may know someone who has built them and has a blueprint to do it or where a used one is.
