Need help identifying an unknown sensor.

Good morning. Can anyone please ID the sensor in the pic? It is located on the engine room ceiling hatch frame, just above the heat exchanger tank, on my 1978 46C. I’ve had these hatches open numerous time and only noticed it this last time. The wires lead into a large harness and I haven’t had the time to properly sniff them out.
